Welcome to Friendly Photo Zone

"How do you do that?" This the 'go to' place to ask that question of your fellow photographers.

Friendly Photo Zone (FPZ for short) is a community revolving around a common passion: photography. We focus on coming together and helping each other take better pictures, images that we can look at in the future with pride and say to ourselves: "I took that picture". With that in mind we provide you a place to share your images, a forum to discuss photography, a critique area where you will get honest and constructive feedback, and a contest section where you can pit your skills against others at the same level as yourself or above.

Star Shooter

Star Shooter implements culturally adaptive and client-centered workshops to children aged 8-18. The mission is to equip children with a tool for expression using photography and allow them the opportunity to discover the “star” within themselves. Workshops can be conducted with an individual or in a group setting. The child will learn digital photography techniques using a camera, mac computers and adobe photoshop software. A culminating project will be assigned for the child upon completion of a class.

FPZ is proud to bring attention and awareness to this great cause, and encourage all our members to help in any way they can.

These are not hard and fast rules but just suggestions to bear in mind when critiquing images.
