Then I raced in to grab one of FP's Limited lenses (FA43) to try and capture the colour better.

here are a few from this morning, i just got a 10 stop ND filter.. this is the first time i got to use it. I feel I will be using it a lot more

I forgot to add on my three B&W film images that those are shot with Ilford SFX 200ISO film and a dark red filter. This film is somewhat IR sensitive although not a true IR film. Anyway, I was going for dark and puffy clouds. I think I got that. BTW I love the tree image too. It wasn't what I was going for but...as I turned around and went back to the car...there it was. Always amazes me how that happens.

SH - love the ND filter images, I think you are going to give Jimbo a run for the money on these. Number 1 is particularly good IMHO.

TP - nice sun dog images but I love the last one you posted of the sunset. Yummy colors. That's a Pentax sunset for sure.

Thanks for the 'Tree Rat' Tiffany! We just have the plain-old black varmints here, not those fancy brown ones! I wanted to be the first to identify the 'Sun Dog' but BCB beat me to the punch. I have seen several this past winter but always in the morning, never at sunset. Nice shootin'! And I like the back lit silhouette of FP. Definitely his best side.

Where is "Morning Shops' Jimbo? The colourful buildings remind me of the shops on Water Street in St. John's Newfoundland.
