Nice touch DR.. Best to you and your family over the Holidays. Man, that brought back some memories. Was that Bog George in the beginning? Cheers JIM

Yeah - Happy Holidays to one and all.

We had guests from Quebec.

Otto & Alice
They felt right at home and claimed our dogs beds as their own. :wth:

Then we visited family in London.

Godiva and Otis
Godiva got to the chair first and despite Otis's persuasive ways she refused to move.

And then the Christmas tree exploded!

More light play.

It's the old Band Aid Christmas song. I was going to post Christmas in Dixie but I was afraid someone might think I was a damn redneck or something

Got a great coffee-table book for Christmas.

This man has an incredible eye for making memorable images.

That looks really interesting!

Besides a delicious assortment of bacon-flavoured candy (which was actually for my birthday), I've mostly come away empty-handed so far this Xmas. Just some random kick-knacks from anonymous gift exchanges where we randomly pick a gift from a pile. Seems like my take-home diminishes as my age increases :eg:

[Steve McCurrey is very well known and has many images in National Geographic over the years. One of his most famous ones is a gorl from Genova. [Link Attached] Grest book. JIM

Yes, the iconic image of that girl from Afghanistan is in the book with many others.
Apparently he favoured Nikon cameras and Kodachrome slide film.
He had the honour of having the last roll of Kodachrome developed by Dwayne's Photo.
He has over 800,000 slides on file!
