I guess I forgot to post these a while back. These are some shots of our new house and property in Vermont. They were taken before any yard work was done, we've since done all kinds of gardening and tree maintenance to make it look neater, but I'll have to wait until the lighting is better before I can take new pictures.

Front Of House

Back Yard

(we've since added a patio swing and a 9'x9' steel-frame gazebo on the deck)

More Back yard

(the fire pit is behind those pine trees)

Reverse Back Yard

60' Of House

(nope, not a mobile home or a prefab)

Huge Garage

(also has a heated workshop in back and an unfinished second floor)

Unfinished Second Floor of Garage

Wow, that's awesome. Love all the workspace and grounds. Most important though is the bbq on the deck!

That thing cost a pretty penny, but we've used it almost every day since we got it 3 weeks ago. It's piped right into the home natural gas line. I've fallen in love with grilling.

OMG your house looks freakin' awesome!
Can't wait to grill some meat on the barbee!

I am green with envy over that garage!

(P.S. Lynda wants to shoot hoops with you!)

One of the first things we bought when we moved here was a basketball to go with that net :)

I did the same thing last year. We got tired of running out of propane mid cooking session.
I find the natural gas operates at a more even temperature.

And no more toting tanks of propane home from Costco - ever! :w00t:

Wow! Those strangling vines really cut into the tree. Poor Tree.

And poor Alice! Hopefully she won't tangle with any more wildlife in the future.
