Who's going to a Stones show?
Got tickets for the kids , a few friends and I. Too damn expensive but I've never seen them and figure this is probably the last chance.
It's a real long shot but I'm trying to get a photo pass.

I'd love to go to a Stones concert. I had the chance, many years ago in Montreal, and passed it up. What a stupid thing to do.

You're right, this is probably your last chance. Half the band members look like they died a week ago.
Photons are your friends! :-)

The odds are not in favor from where I am but I'd love to see what you come up with, photo pass or not.

Good luck!

Well last I checked most venues still had a few tickets available. I could probably help if you came to Raleigh.

I had tickets for the Miami Steel Wheels show in 89 but got a late start , was fighting with wife #1 , EGR valve took a dump in bumper to bumper traffic on I-95 in Ft. Lauderdale so under great stress I turned around in the median and missed the show.
Back then I thought it would be their last tour , This time it feels like I got a "do- over"

i went to "the last" Stones tour Steel Wheels in '89. It was promoted as the last chance to see them before they called it quits. Then in '94 i went to another "last " Stones tour, Voodoo Lounge...then I saw them again...then another time...hell, i don't think even they thought they would live this long, lol.
Now, i'm happy renting a Netflix concert of the Stones and calling it a day.
:~(

PS - i also need to start saving my money for McCartney tickets...what, you thought he was done too?

Yep, The Who was in Raleigh a couple nights ago. I wish I could afford to see them all at least once.
I really prefer the smaller venues especially the one I shoot events for ;)
Next up will be Delbert McClinton.

OK no photo pass and had to use a "travel camera" but it was a great show anyhow.
The stadium is home to the NC State Wolf Pack and there was a full moon on 7/1 so the official logo was great.
See it here....

The set list was mostly older stuff and the sound was a bit on the raw side. The two worked well together

The Avett Brothers oppened and played the best set I've heard from them. You'll have to check them out here becase there was an unending line of people between me and the stage while they were on.

...And the reason 40,000 people went to Raleigh on a Wednesday night looked kinda like this
