Thanks to Rosemary for an excellent hosting job and again to all who contributed to a great week.

If you need to recall the Guidelines check on the link.

So no theme or guidance for this week other than let's see what you are shooting this TW3.

hm, looks like i am going to be the first to post :)
No, this will be particularly painful....hm, I just noticed one of her legs looks wider than the other. Funny thing is its the one farthest from the camera. This is all Ashleys own figure so not like I tucked something unevenly.

I feel my American patriotism growing! (and I'm a Canadian!!!)

I've got a mish-mash of pictures left over from J.Scott's visit last week, and a couple more taken last night and today:

BaaAaah!

Well, that's a diverse set of shots and I like'em all. Comments, questions.

BaaAaa! - Great tonalities and framing on this one. I almost thought it looked like J.Scott with hair thought...anyway, I liked it right off, nice shot.

The Cowmobile - great angle on that puppy. It turns a nice shot into an effective image.

The Lone Sample - I think you could even crop in a bit more (mostly on the top of the image) on that shot but I like it's simplicity and ... I'm wanting some ice cream right now! I think that could work well in B&W too.

A Foggy Morning - I believe this is your best of this bunch and I like this a lot. Personally, I think I'd try to selectively lower the intensity of the foggy sun a bit, just enough to slow my eye being drawn quickly to the light because the rest of the image is something I want to wander around it for a while. This is one of those images that has greeting card quality too it. Well done, this is a strong image IMHO.

A Clear Sunset - is that really the color you saw or is there any enhancements in PP to this image.
I just wondering on that. It's really just a darn lovely sunset. Very well done.

After comparing the two posts a number of times, I can sorta see a very subtle change in the leg but it may be more the suggestion that something was changed. Anyway, that is a fun shot. Hope to see some more from that shoot.

The idea is to look natural when done :) I am thinking possibly about adding a warning to the swim suit image before posting, just in case anyone has a heart problem. lol I should have it done later this afternoon.

Ah...that's ok, the EMT's just left, I didn't need to go to the ER like I thought.

Thanks! The sun isn't quite as strong in the original, I intensified its halo a bit to try to get it to reach behind the tall tree. But you're right, I think it's a tad too blatant now and draws the eye more than necessary. Consider this an updated edition of my submission, but I'll leave the original in place for comparison.

A Foggy Morning Redux

Last night's sunset was especially striking and the colours in that picture are pretty accurate. Most of the post-processing went towards making the grass in the foreground look green rather than dark gray.

Interesting. I think I actually like the first posted version of the shot better as the sun is not as sharp as your second one. If I'm dragging this more in the direction of a critique, sorry. Ok, one more thought on this that occurred to me after I wrote my first remarks, if you could selectively bring up the brightness of the ground (in either image) a bit, would that balance the sun? I think this is my recent too much time in the darkroom experience coming out, as I've gotten into having to dodge and burn selectively my prints. Anyway, I just would like to see if the light and dark of this image could be balanced more without making it look flat.

I just really like this composition and the fog gives it that wonderful mystery.

I can't keep posting edited versions, otherwise I'm cheating  But since I like that picture too, here's the latest and last version:

A Foggy Morning Omega

As punishment to myself, all submitted versions shall count towards my max submission total 0:)
