Friendly Photo Zone offers a lot of features for photographers to get together and help each other improve their skills. Of course, all these features might be a little overwhelming at first. The articles in this section are intended to help you get familiar with the way these features work, and how best to take advantage of them. If there's anything you need to know which isn't covered in these articles, feel free to contact us!

Creating and Managing Your FPZ Guild

Interested in creating your own guild? Want to learn more about what's involved in creating your own guild? The information in here will get you up and running!

Forum Help

What we'll do here is try to familiarize you with how to use our forum and its many options. When you get done reading this you will be able to reply to existing posts as well as make new posts. You will know how to format your text, make links, add images and videos and much more. We're not going to teach you how to use every little button, gizmo or forum feature but rather provide you sufficient working knowledge to feel comfortable enough to get involved here in the forum. After that, you can do a sleuthing around to learn what the rest of the goodies do.

Critiquing Guide

Critiquing not only helps the person who's picture is being critiqued, it helps you produce better pictures. Please don't just say that you like a picture, it may make the photographer feel good but it doesn't help them take a better picture. These are not hard and fast rules but just suggestions to bear in mind when critiquing images.
