The New Friendly Photo Zone

It's sleek, it's fast, it's improved in every way. After months of development and help from the FPZ community, the new Friendly Photo Zone web site is finally here! Be sure to check it out!

Highlights include:

• A brand new look! Loads much faster, runs more smoothly in every browser. If you had problems with site performance before, the new site should be a noticeable improvement
• A brand new forum! More tightly integrated with the rest of the site. With this new forum as a base, it'll be much easier to organize community activities.
• More dynamic front page! Includes the latest updates from throughout FPZ, as well as articles of interest from around the web.
• Lots of ways to get around! With a brand new menu and featured items listed throughout the site, everything is always within reach with a couple of clicks.
• Exciting upcoming features! Including the Community Gallery, Critique Area, and Member Blogs. You can read all about these upcoming features.

FPZ would especially like to thank lostminstrel and J.Scott for their invaluable help in tracking down the last few tenacious bugs after the new site launched.

The Next Feature!

Based on community feedback, the next feature we'll be working on is the Member Gallery. The Member Gallery will provide members an allocated amount of space to store, organize and share pictures with other FPZ members. All of your stored pictures will be available from anywhere on FPZ at the click of a link. You'll be able to insert them in your forum posts or blog entries without having to deal with cumbersome URL addresses or crazy file names. Other members will be able to rate your pictures or leave comments (if you decide to let them). This is a great way to get valuable feedback. The highest-rated pictures will be featured on the FPZ Front Page, and other places throughout the site. Click here to read more about this upcoming feature.
