The FPZ Marvelous May Macro/CF Shoot Out

It's May, and throughout most of the Northern hemisphere, Spring is in full bloom. With this in mind, intrepid FPZ member DamnRedneck has organized the the FPZ Marvelous May Macro/CF Shoot Out!

Running throughout the month of May, this shootout encourages all members to show off their best macro/close-focus work. You don't necessarily need a high end macro lens to participate, focusing at your lens' minimum focus distance should be enough. Even a kit lens focuses surprisingly close.

Here's the deal folks , stop frolicking around the May Pole for a minute and read this.
All FPZ members and lurkers who need to become members are invited to participate in the FPZ Marvelous May Macro & Close Focus Shoot Out.
 
The Rules:
1) Contest open to all FPZ members.
2) Pictures to be taken and posted between uhhh.. Now and Midnight 5/31/11 your local time.
3)Each member may enter 1 color and/or 1 B/W photo.
4)Entries to be Macro or Close Focus shots.
5)Entries can be changed , modified , deleted , replaced etc. up to the closing time.
6)You may not enter close ups of your (or anyone else's) private parts.

1 Year Ago...

...Friendly Photo Zone was born! Hard to believe it's already been a whole year. It was back on May 11th, 2010 that FPZ opened its doors and invited all photographers to our fledgling community. And what a great year it's been!

But the best is yet to come, and we look forward to growing together, gathering new members and helping photographers achieve their goals.
